Join Qing Ren, current PhD candidate in the UVM Rubenstein School of Environment and Natural Resources, as she holds an interactive webinar to share her dissertation research on applications of GIS data in environmental justice (EJ). Qing will share the process of constructing the Vermont Environmental Disparity Index (VTEDI), created to demonstrate the cumulative impact of environmental, social, and risks through the use of spatial data. She will also discuss research results, as well as the implications and limitations of using spatial data in EJ research. Come with questions and to support Qing in her research exploration.
