The University of Vermont (UVM) in Burlington, Vermont seeks PhD students for Fall 2026 to comprise the seventh cohort of Leadership for the Ecozoic (L4E) fellows. This cohort will join the current L4E community of over 40 PhD fellows at UVM and McGill University in Montreal, Quebec.
The Department of Anthropology at McGill University in Montreal, Quebec seeks PhD students for Fall 2026 to comprise the seventh cohort of Leadership for the Ecozoic (L4E) fellows. This cohort will join the current L4E community of over 40 PhD fellows at UVM and McGill.
L4E is offered at the University of Vermont and McGill University. Successful PhD applicants receive a three-year stipend, (subject to students' satisfactory progress), to support their research, the L4E shared coursework, an internship with a partner organization, and other partnership-related work assignments. Tuition support will be available via scholarships and supplementary teaching assistantships.
