Metamorfosis is a dynamic three-day celebration, a safe and nurturing haven for the LGBTQIA+ community and friends. Together, we will explore uncharted possibilities, forging novel pathways to sustainable livelihoods and fighting for a more equitable and joyful future. In defiance of the dominant growth paradigm, our endeavours focus on fostering ecological equilibrium, cultivating social justice, and nurturing personal well-being. We dismantle boundaries and foster resource-sharing beyond exploitation, embracing nature's complexity.

We invite everyone to contribute their voices to this festivity of transformation. Action-oriented workshops alongside a cultural program will become stepping stones toward a future that beckons with alluring scenarios. Queering becomes our modus as we join forces with the broader degrowth movement. In a time of crises and destabilization, small islands of social coherence can shift the entire system. It's up to us, the new generations, to build upon the ruins left by capitalism and create these islands of coherence, expanding them to reach all dimensions of society.

The festivity will take place in Can Masdeu, a historical space renowned for ecological regeneration, activism, and grassroots education. For over twenty years, it has cultivated the culture of care as a form of resistance in Barcelona through its residence and community garden in Collserola Park. Can Masdeu provides the necessary infrastructure for workshops and activities, including a community kitchen, social centre, garden, forest, stage, and dome.
