The intersections between racism, inequality and the ecological crisis are leading many to envision and fight for a more ecologically viable and more just world. The co-creation of ecological law is but one part of the worldmaking this entails. How can ecological law contribute to the forging of anti-racist, feminist, and decolonial environmentalisms and act in the service of justice? How can relations of trust, accountability, and solidarity be built and maintained? And how can ongoing scholarship and movement organizing around racial injustice and environmental racism inform the conversation around ecological law? ELGA Steering Committee member Geoff Garver will moderate a conversation with Kesha Fevrier, Jen Gobby, Ngozi Unuigbe and Travis Williams about their experiences engaging with these questions.
