In this webinar, Sophia Murphy of the University of British Columbia’s Institute for Resources, Environment and Sustainability will explain how the current framework for international trade and investment presents daunting obstacles to a transition to ecological law. Susan Bragdon, Executive Director of Seeds for All in Portland, Oregon, will then explain how agroecology, support for smallholders and other sustainable food systems initiatives could be part of a trade regime consistent with ecological law. L4E PhD candidates Shaun Sellers and Tina Beigi will draw from their research and experience in responding to the presentations.
