Toyib Aremu

L4E PhD Fellow – University of Vermont

Toyib is pursuing a PhD in Sustainable Development Policy, Economics and Governance at the University of Vermont. He holds a master’s in Sustainable Development from the Centre for Sustainable Development, University of Ibadan, Nigeria. Toyib is interested in understanding how research can affect Nigerian agricultural policymaking and outcomes, with the aim of supporting improved decision making through sound evidence. Toyib has previous research experience in the agriculture sectors in Ghana and Rwanda. As an L4E fellow, he hopes to leverage the Community of Practice to improve his research and science communication skills and contribute to better understanding science-policy interface in Nigeria’s agriculture sector.
