This workshop, organized by Two Countries One Forest, Wildlands Network, Canadian Parks and Wilderness Society, GUND Institute, and facilitated by CDR Associates, will convene key stakeholders and Rights holders from Indigenous groups, Canada, and the U.S. to develop a shared plan for accelerating the protection and stewardship of a resilient forested landscape across the Northern Appalachian-Acadian (NAPA) ecoregion of Canada and the United States.

The five-day event over the course of three months will explore three key topics:

  1. Identify and protect remaining old forests
  2. Accelerate the restoration of wildland forests
  3. Increase the amount of resilient forest through ecological management
